Rio de Joy came into Diamond Dachshund rescue during the Olympics with her puppies.  She was a great mom and is very sweet.  She is black with short hair and long legs.  We think she is about 4 years old.  She is now spayed.  She weighs about 22 lbs.  Rio is completely house trained.  She gets along with other dogs and will be devoted to her new owner.  She loves to cuddle!!  She likes children.  Not sure about cats.  Rio is a calm and quiet dog.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
