If you simply can't chose between a blue-eyed or brown-eyed girl - Then I'm the girl for you!  I'm simply a sweet little lady who loves everyone, but I especially love to cuddle with the guys! Although I can't hear you, I can read your face and understand what is going on around me. My lack of hearing doesn't stop me in any way. As for my personal resume:  I'm a a lap dog that loves to curl up in any blanket, towel, clothing etc that I can reach. I get along well with EVERYONE. I don't like cats or small and furry pets other than dogs. I prefer to sleep in bed with you tucked under the covers and will wake up around 5:30/6am to use the restroom and eat breakfast. I like to bark at the TV when animals are on, I'm not a fan of Clifford the Big Red Dog or the Humpday Camel lol.  Free feeding wouldn't be good for me because I will gorge myself. I eat breakfast, dinner and a few light snacks through the day. I will find a spot in the yard and dig, especially after it rains. I will also look for holes in the fence so I recommend you check mine weekly.  I love to go on walks and think I can take on any dog that is in my sight. I am normally good when the front door is open but am not opposed to bolting if I feel like it.

 In short, I'm just a very precious young lady  and I'm eager to find my forever home so my fairy "tail" ending can come true!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
