Well, I am a gorgeous black & tan girl looking for a new home.  I was in a home but then this little baby came along and I just didn't really like it when she started crawling around on the floor in my territory.  So, I came back to DDRTX where they will find me another really good home.  I get along with other dogs and love having a doggie door to use.  Cats are just so much fun to chase.  I wish they all would run when I chase them, you know they need the exercise.  When they don't run, well they just aren't any fun so I don't bother them.  My foster mom says I am smart and behave really well.  Since I am only about 6 years old, I still have plenty of energy and like to play.  Tug-o-war with toys is so much fun!  I like playing fetch too except I don't always bring it back.  So, if you have some toys, I'd love to come break them in for you.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
