Dash Jr. is a beautiful red dachshund just under 1 year old.  Dash Jr. is FUNNY, SMART, PLAYFUL and CURIOUS.  Dash Jr. was surrendered with his litter mate, Sully.  They are living in separate foster homes so they can see what it is like being around other dogs and they are doing well.  Dash Jr. is a shy one around new people, places and things and he needs someone who is understanding of that and goes slow introducing him to these things. He is doing well with his potty training.  He loves toys and rawhide and he enjoys playing with humans as well once he get to know you.  Dash Jr. enjoys playing with and following around his big foster sister.  He also enjoys going for walks with her.  Since he has been with his brother since birth and he enjoys his foster sister, he would do well with having a doggie buddy that will play and have fun with him.  Since Dash Jr. is shy, older considerate kids might be a best.  Dash Jr. is a real sweetheart and will make someone very happy.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
