Meet Aspen Ray and Gunner Lee!  These two boys came into the DDR with a terrible case of heartworms, not sure they would even survive, but they are all better now and ready for the next chapter in their lives.  Aspen and Gunner are a bonded pair, they don’t like being apart from one another.  They will eat, play, and sleep together.  They get along great with other dogs, but don’t care much for cats as they will just ignore them; however, bigger dogs frighten them.  Aspen and Gunner are seniors, they just had dental work done and are so happy to be able to eat again without it hurting.  Both of them love to cuddle and be near their humans.  They enjoy running in the yard and chasing squirrels.  They are both housetrained and enjoy being in their crates for naps and at night.  These two boys have a lot of love to offer to a new fur-ever home.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
