Sam C is a big boy standard that came for foster in the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey.  Estimates are that he is about a year old and weighs around 28 pounds. He is the most handsome red color with a wonderfully sweet disposition, but he loves to play and romp and can be a little rough for small playmates.  His foster brother is a 16 pound, nine-month-old tweenie and they are perfect playmates.  He loves people and other dogs.  He loves  belly rubs and chew  toys.  He is calm, a quick learner and wants to please, minds well and is completely house trained with a doggie door.   

For a lifetime of devotion and sweetness, Sam C is your man .

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
