Meet Willis!  He is a happy guy!  His tail never stops wagging even though he has had a ruff life!  Willis is a happy dog who makes friends with everyone!  He gets along with kids, dogs, and cats.  He is housebroken, sleeps through the night in his bed, rides well in the car and loves investigating every inch of the backyard with his big foster sister!

Willis has become quite the little sailor!  He enjoys fishing at the coast with his foster family.  He keeps watch for when the next fish will be caught and even has developed an adorable "sailor walk"!  He doesn't miss out on anything!  He is a real natural BOAT DOG!   If you're looking for a dog that enjoys the outdoors, Willis is your buddy! 

He has gone through heartworm treatment and is now heartworm free and ready to find his forever family!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
