Hi, I’m Serena! My sister and I are named after famous sisters who play tennis. I don’t know what tennis is, but I love playing with the ball as long as you don’t ask me to fetch. I’m part dachshund and part wire-haired something. My likes are playing with my sister and other dogs, playing in the backyard, and taking long naps with my foster family and the other dogs. I taught myself the doggie door and my housetraining is coming along. I am very vocal when waiting for my meals, but otherwise I’m a good girl. My dislikes are being all alone and not having any toys. I am okay not being adopted with my sister as long as I have a doggy buddy to play with me.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
