"Dear Theodosia, what to say about you? You are so sweet, we'll make your life complete. When you came into rescue, we knew you'd win many hearts." 

Named after a song from the musical, "Hamilton", Theodosia is a super sweet girl who is housetrained, crate trained, and overall easygoing. While she's cautious of her surroundings, she is interested in other dogs and people. Thea ADORES her foster dad and is convinced that his face is the best place to sleep. She's interested in exploring the yard but doesn't venture far from her foster mom or dad for very long. Thea watches and learns from her foster siblings and is not afraid of big dogs. She thinks humans make the best pillows, including the human 10-year-old foster brother. Thea loves "deading" toys and likes to spend her time snoozing under the bed. Thea's personality is still developing as she is settling into the home, but she is definitely a happy dog with a lot of love to give. We will be sure to update as we learn more about her!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
