My name is Deuce McAllister!    I’m a 2-year-old Longhair reddish blonde Dachshund looking for my furever home.    I don’t mind big families but I would do well in a small family as well.    I get along with my Foster pack and I sleep in the Kennel really well.  I’m a happy little fella and will cuddle with you or beside you on the couch and I love to give lots of kisses to my Foster Mom and Dad.    I’m doggy-door trained and I do love to run the yard and will protect it from all sorts of things that would dare to creep into your yard or into the air in your yard.   I'm still working on my leash training, but I'm pretty smart and my Foster Mom thinks I'll pick it up pretty quickly.   I’ve been neutered and I have all my shots and I’M ready for you … the question is … are YOU ready for me? Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
