Hello my name is Darla the darling. My foster mom took in me after I weened my pups. At first I was nervous and missed my pups but I soon found out my Foster family gave lots of belly rubs. I really like cuddles! I give my foster family my sad puppy dog eyes when I want a treat or need some cuddle time. Don't let my sad eyes fool you though I am a total goof ball. I will follow you around from the moment we wake up until the moment I need a nap! I wont make a mess in your house as I'm totally potty trained. I love the great outdoors and make my mom come find me in the backyard when it's time to come in. I just love to sit in the sunshine and let everyone bask in my wonderfulness! Although the couch is my second favorite place!!! I'm not a fan of confinement so I might express my displeasure over it. I just need a comfy bed or couch or lap to show you how much I can love you!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
