Meet Sandy Mae!  She's a gracious, senior lady standard dachshund mix.  While we don't know her back story, she's obviously had a loving home at one time.  She came in spayed, heartworm negative, and completely house trained.

Maybe she and her owner just grew old together...neither able to see as well as they used to or able to take care of each other any more.  Maybe they couldn't hear her at the door just like she couldn't hear them when they called her.  She is incredibly sweet and calm.

She gets along with dogs - big and small - and doesn't mind the cat either.  She explores the foster home often and is always wanting to be where you are.  She doesn't bolt out the door and will stay by your side when outside.  She doesn't care too much for toys, but will look longingly into your eyes for treats!

She just needs a nice quiet place to lay down and live out her life with grace.
