Hi my name is Henry and I am an 8 year old sweet, older gentleman that loves to go on walks.  I get so excited when I see the harness, I run around and jump around. I love food, including anything left unattended on the coffee table. I weigh around 26 pounds.

I have some aches and pains and they cause me to not like to be picked up very much or rubbed too hard. I do like laying next to my foster brother and sisters. I like to be on the big bed, but will get down and go sleep on a dog bed.  My foster Mom was surprised to see that I like baths.  She is very gentle when picking me up and putting me in the tub and I love her rubbing shampoo into my fur.  I come out smelling good and looking more handsome than normal.

I have discovered tennis balls and love playing with them.  I am learning to share them with other dogs and people.  I like to play with my foster brother even though I can't play very long as my joints start to ache.

Younger children make me nervous but would do well with teens and adults who are careful with my sore joints.  If you are looking for a sweet-natured mature chap to give you his undivided attention, I am your man!
