Nathan Quinn is a sweet, fun-loving dachshund that took a while to open up.  He is very playful, LOVES squeaky toys, and gets very excited when he sees the harness and leash!  He does well on walks and likes to explore.  His absolute favorite thing to do is completely burrow down and turn himself into a Weenie Dog Burrito in his blankets!  

Nathan is heartworm positive and has begun treatment.  He will be retested in a few months.  He had a large mass on his nose that was removed so he has a slight scar, but it gives him character!  

Nathan gets along with other dogs of all sizes, does great in a kennel or roaming the house, and has quite the bark when it comes to dinner time or playtime!  While his comic book character went on to become known as "The Sausage Savage" to fight crime with his fellow pet heroes, this Nathan Quinn wants nothing more than to become a part of a family, settle down, give love, and be loved!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
