Joe Cool is my name and playing is my game. I love to play, and play some more. I collect my toys and put them in my bed. Speaking of my bed. When I finally tire out I like to sleep on my back much like my namesake Snoopy. My foster mom keeps putting me in a crate to sleep. I don't like it at first but then I just go to sleep. 
When I wake up its back to playing - I'm a very busy pup, I will play with my big foster brother. I also love to play with my sisters, but I don't like to share my toys.  We love to run, inside, outside, around the house. I play rough with them sometimes. I'm still learning how to potty outside, but I'll get used to it soon. I would love to be in a home with you, where we can play, and run, and play! I like little people and big people,  and other dogs, and I really want to play with the resident Cat but she just hisses at me. If you're looking for someone to play with, I'm your guy! I hope to meet you soon.

Joe Cool is not available for adoption just yet.  He needs more puppy shots first.  If you would like to sponsor him during this time, he would love that!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
