Greetings from Finnegan, or Finn, as his foster mom calls him.

Finnegan is an adorable 1 and half year old, wire haired dachshund mix. He recently was neutered, and a small hernia was found and repaired as well. So he is just now getting the stitches out and becoming a bit more active and playful. Finn loves other dogs, and adults. He seems a little unsure about young children, and would be better supervised if young children are around. He is very sweet, loves to lay near you, enjoys belly rubs, and nuzzling next to you. He prefers to sleep in the big bed, or a very comfy doggie bed, but was very uneasy in a crate. He is a perfect gentleman in the car, seems to understand that he is supposed to potty outside, and is learning the doggie door. Like any dachshund, he loves food, but is not a huge fan of crunchy treats.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.
