About Gracie May

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Rescue ID: 22-0051
  • Color: Red
  • Current Size: 9 Pounds
  • Current Age: 7 Years 11 Months (best estimate)
Gracie is around 9 pounds and 5 years old. She is a playful, affectionate sweet, silky, long haired cutie looking for her forever home. Best as only dog because she protects her food and toys. She loves to chew Kongs and other hard toys. She might unstuff a soft toy. Loves to play fetch with a ball. She likes to be with her person but is content in cage when you nap or have to leave. She is timid in new situations and will bark when a dog barks. She has a strong prey drive and gets distracted outside with all of the fun birds and squirrels. She is housebroken if let out, she dances by door. She will try to dash out door with you unless you say stay. She would be safest if you are with her outside so that she doesn’t go on an adventure outside your fence. She tried apartment life and she wasn’t happy there. We feel she hasn’t been exposed to home life much but once she checks it’s out and feels safe she is good. She is spayed and available for adoption.
