Goodness gracious great balls of fire! My call sign is Goose and I'm a RIO at Top Gun! I'm totally cute and I like to have fun! At only 3 months old, our whole litter is pretty little, all around 6.5lbs.... but I'm the BIG GUY, at 9lbs! Personally, I'm both the most playful and most wary of people, but me and my foster family are working on it. I've got medium length, cream colored, almost white, wire-hair and I enjoy playing with other friendly dogs and fun toys. I'm still pretty new to rescue, so my foster family doesn't know me really well just yet, but I'm silly and sweet so far, good with potty pads, quiet in the car, I listen when other dogs tell me "no", and I'm a bit skittish. I need a little time to warm up to humans but I'm working on that. I like to watch my foster family walk around the house while I evaluate their flight patterns and efficiency. I'm not sure where I'll be happiest just yet.... but I think I'll want someone to play with... a dog, cat, but I'm not sure about kids just yet. Are you my new fighter pilot?

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
