Ellie Fay came to Diamond Dachshund Rescue through no fault of her own. She is a super sweet little girl. She is a little timid when meeting new dogs but warms up quickly. She loves meeting new people.  Her favorite place is in your lap and gives plenty of kisses. She is good in a crate and true to being a dachshund, she will burrow under any blankets. She is getting more comfortable in her foster home and is starting to play with toys.  Ellie is housetrained and will also use a potty pad if it's there.

Unfortunately for this little girl, she is heart worm positive and will undergo treatment before she will be available for adoption.  If you would like to sponsor her during this time, please go to our sponsorship page and click the button!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
