Roc is a sweet 3-year-old red piebald male, with short legs and a smooth soft coat. His pictures don't do him justice but he hasn't sit still long enough to snap a shot. When you get close to him he comes right up to give you kisses or to get in your lap. He is friendly, loves people yet at the same time he is a little submissive. He roams the house, follows his foster mom around and/or cuddles in her lap (his preferred spot). While his foster mom is on the computer he likes sitting behind her napping. He is good around other dogs. He’d do well with a playmate, since he has been with one his whole life, or someone who will be home with him. Roc isn’t fond of being alone or out of your sight but that may just be due to the changes he’s endured the past few days. He is good in the car, and absolutely loves walks to the point he jumps up and down when it’s time to go. He will need a little training to stop jumping as it is not good for his back. Roc enjoys exploring the backyard with his humans. While he’ll go in the kennel, and sleeps burrowed under the covers there at night, it isn’t his preferred spot when he’s alone. This may be due to the fact he's never been alone in the crate before he's always had his mate. He is a little Houdini that can open the crate door so an extra clip will be needed. If you’re looking for an affectionate lap dog and/or   a playmate for your current dog  Roc may be the perfect fit.

Since he is new to rescue, we will update his bio as we learn more about him.
