Hi there! My name is Angus Connor! I am 10 years old, and weigh 15 pounds. I love being around people and will listen to you really well-- I'm not a naughty puppy at all! I am great with other dogs, and I'll make friends with them real fast! I love playing with the youngest doggy in my foster home and now we are good friends-- we wrestle gently and I initiate play all the time! I LOVE walking around and exploring, and especially love getting near your face and giving you all the kisses in the world! When you are working, watching tv, playing video games, etc, I'm a very happy boy if I can sit in your lap... and don't worry, I'm polite and quiet-- a great helper! I especially love my foster dad and human brother... I'm just "one of the guys"! I like to listen to people talk and I'll tilt my head trying to understand. Pull out a leash and I'll get REAL excited, cause I love walks! The doggy door is no problem for a 10 year old man like me, and I figured out the ramps in the house really fast! I'm still spry as ever and you'd NEVER guess my age because I'm active and have good teeth! One of my favorite things, and where I really shine, is being held. I will cuddle in your arms for hours if you let me-- just close my eyes and soak up your love. Once I've decided that we are family, I will protect you when I think you are in danger! If you need a happy little nap buddy and a friend for your playful pooch, I'm your guy!!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
