Foster Dad: “She’s cute, she’s sweet, come get her!”

Foster Mom: “Lol! Hun, you need to flesh it out a wee bit more!”

Foster Dad: “She’s looking at me again! You KNOW how I am about those eyes! Also, don’t forget… OH those snuggles and nudging my cheek for smooches!”

Foster Mom: “Well, she IS a dachshund that knows what she loves!”

So, here we have a wonderfully sweet and happy little two-year old dachshund named Ari Dawn! She came in with her sister from a Good Samaritan, who sadly couldn’t care for them anymore. She’s UTD on everything and is waiting for her very own special home. While sweet, Ari can be a bit timid until she gets to know you.

She’s great with the doggy door, doesn’t mind the leash, and absolutely LOVES sleeping in the big bed! She gets along great the crew in her foster home and has been an absolute joy to have around.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.
