While most dogs arrive into rescue with their tails between their legs, Daisy ’s tail hasn’t stopped wagging since she met her foster family! She doesn’t seem to understand what a stranger is! She is 4 years old with healthy levels of energy, but once she feels at home she loves to relax and enjoy a good lap.

Daisy Fay is obedient, eager to please and usually quiet, as we haven't even heard her bark that much! She's a good, happy girl who does well on the leash and although some excitement / nervous urination happened at the beginning, she made incredibly good progress in her foster home and she's now fully potty trained. She is what her foster dad calls "most improved player".

Daisy loves kids and other dogs but not cats, she doesn't even approve of their looks!
Foster mom ADORES Daisy because she is the perfect balance between playful and sassy but also lazy and independent. Daisy does well in her kennel, and sleeping on the doggie bed, but she prefers being close to her people, burrowing under the blankets on the big bed.

Daisy got her spay and vaccines. She is ready for adventures and can't wait to be a part of a family that is ready for the most loyal companion they'll ever meet and will love her and her spunky personality forever!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds. All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property. Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval. Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities! Opt to Adopt!
