Milo Ryder is new to our rescue. Here is a little bit about this sweet friendly fellow:

Milo is a 5 year old 14 pound, handsome piebald pup. His hobbies include: wagging his tail, investigating the back yard and saying hello to neighbor dogs through the fence, burrowing under his covers, enjoying dog treats - that he takes ever so gently from your hand, following foster mom and foster dog brothers around the house, giving kisses being adorable. He is houstrained (has never had an accident in his foster home), sleeps quietly and contentedly in his crate (burrowed under his blanket), enjoys going for walks very much (walks nicely on a leash and keeps a good pace), and is a very dainty eater (eating one kibble at a time)! He is good with other dogs - once introduced slowly and with care. He is friendly with men, women and children. Once settled in, his playful side comes out! He likes playing with toys, his foster pup brothers and people. Overall, Milo Ryder is a smart, sweet, affectionate, silly, curious, very good boy.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.
