Salem is an 8 - 10 week old male puppy.  He was left in front of a veterinarian's office in a kennel. The vet looked him over, gave his his first puppy shots and called rescue to help him.  So far the foster Mom reports that he has a lot of energy, he is a puppy but will also chill when the humans are workings.  He just sits and watches.  He is doing great in the crate so far, cried for a couple of minutes the first night but then went to sleep.  He is curious with the cat and loves following around his foster brother in the home.He has a healthy appetite.  He is a great little puppy!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
