Ginger Snap is a 2 year old female who came from a home that didn’t show her a lot of love. She is still learning to get along with the other dogs, but so far she has only showed a little bit of food aggression. We think that will go away with time because she loves to play with the other dogs, and they take advantage of the pretty weather and large yard. She is good about sleeping in the kennel and eating in the kennel. She does like to snuggle with the humans, but right now she is a ball of energy and it takes her about 15 minutes to calm down before she can get comfortable enough just to relax and fall asleep. She is very good about going potty outside, and she rarely barks at the neighbors’ dogs. She is good on a leash/harness and we believe that in time she will be the perfect pet for any home!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.
