Jenny Marie is a 9 year old female dachshund. Jenny Marie was found in a ditch by a fireman. She swears she was only there because she thought she could find some juvenile turtles who would share their pizza but was grateful to be rescued like in those Hallmark movies.    It is impossible to meet Jenny and not instantly fall in love with her. She fits the mold of a Dachshund to the “D” at the beginning and end.    Jenny has sass, courage, and makes a situation hers. She is also loyal, affectionate, and loves to share your space. Jenny also loves her foster siblings and other short dogs she meets. Jenny wants to continue her fairy tail life with you, so fill out that adoption form already!

Jenny is now available for adoption.  She has come a long way.  Her skin is healed from the infection, although she may have some scaring from how bad it way.  Her eyes are doing so much better.  She will need eye meds the rest of her life to help keep them as healthy as can be.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
