 Hello my name is Kasumi I am 2 year old Chiweenie and weigh 11 pounds.  I am very shy at first I do get along with other dogs once I feel comfortable.  I sleep on my dog bed with you in the bedroom. I do like to chew, so putting me in a crate or laundry room will keep me safe when you are gone. I very good after I get used to mine home. When I play I am kind loud but it is not an aggressive growl or bark.  I do like to go on car rides.  I like to go on walks and am a good girl on a leash.  I will follow you around the house, I like to see what you are doing and I like being with you.  I am working on housetraining but you have to watch for me, I will let you know when I need to go out and I am getting better about it everyday.  They tell me I am a really lovable girl.  If I sound like I could be a good fit for you, put in your application now!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
