Rolo is a 6 year old male dachshund best described as sweet, quirky and high energy. While initially shy, his personality shines through only after a couple days. He recently returned to rescue after not getting along with cats.

What’s Rolo like at home?

Some of Rolo’s favorite activities include fetching balls, walks, cuddles and yummy snacks. Rolo currently lives with 4 other dogs (two large and 2 small) and has been very good around them, but it’s important to note that he does not engage with them and usually prefers to play alone with his humans. He sleeps well in a kennel, but does prefer to sleep with his humans more. He is like a little shadow and likes to be around people. Rolo is potty trained, but requires a consistent potty schedule.

Rolo’s ideal home would include someone active, with older children/no children, with dogs of a calmer demeanor or as an only dog, and no cats. If you would like more information on Rolo, please feel free to reach out!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.
