About Bennett Burro | |
Bennett Burro is a 2 year old standard boy. He weighs 19 pounds. Poor Bennett found himself at a local shelter hurt. They think he was hit by a car and it broke his pelvis on one side. Despite all he has been through, he has been so sweet. He gives the softest kisses. Bennett is great with other dogs and is great with all people. Bennett is housebroken and is great in a kennel. He does well on a leash and harness for his short walks He is a quiet guy, we have only heard him bark once and that was at something outside. He is still recovering, but he has been a great patient. He is getting stronger everyday! When he is available for adoption, he will make someone very happy because he is such a great dog!
Bennett is not available for adoption just yet due to his injuries. Bennett was taken to a specialist and had surgery to repair his pelvis. He received a plate and some screws to put it all back together. The surgery was a success and now he needs 6 weeks healing time.
UPDATE: Bennett is now available for adoption. He has been released from his vet.
