Hello everyone my name is Holly Belle.  I am an almost six year old chocolate girl.  My mom was having some health issues so I need a new home.  I am very polite, self sufficient and smart.  I learned the doggie door in one day.  and I love it!!! I think it is so neat I can go outside whenever I want.  I love to sit outside in the grass with my new siblings.  I slept in my new crate with a comfy bed and my favorite blanket and didn’t even make a peep, it was so comfortable.  I am learning to trust my new foster family so I will sit in their laps , but sometimes I get nervous and only stay a minute.  I do know how to go up the stairs,  like my foster siblings, so I can sit on my spot on the couch.  My new siblings are nice,  I have two little dachshunds like me and even a big lab, so far we are all having a good time together.  We went for a walk together and I had a great  time. I do get scared when someone tries to pick me up without asking, so a home with very polite older children would be best.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
