Finnegan Trooper is a 3 year old dachshund mix.  He weighs 25 pounds.  He is new to rescue but so far, Finnegan has adapted very well to his foster home. I would say he does well with other dogs that are his size or bigger but he really loves his people and would be ok with just humans too.  He is great in a kennel, barks when he’s lonely or wants to go outside. He caught on to the doggie door very quickly. He goes for walks every morning and does well on the leash. He loves cuddles and kisses and seems to be treat motivated. He comes when you call him and he’s extremely friendly to people and small children. He has a stellar personality and I think he would thrive in any home!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
