Taffeta (aka Taffy) - a beautiful little girl dog. Taffy is a chocolate pie bald miniature short hair. She gets along well with other dogs, is a little barky with new dogs and strangers, but is otherwise coming around very well. She was very shy at first, but seems to enjoy attention, petting, holding and kisses now that she's been with us a little while. Taffy was born on 11/12/03, so she is just 14 months of age. She is spayed, current on shots, hw neg. on preventative, and will be placed in a foster home soon so that she can learn more about leashes and housetraining. I would suggest no children in her home, due to her shyness, they may scare her. HAPPY ENDINGS: Taffy is a happy little girl doggie in her new home! She is a beautiful little girl dog. She now lives in a wonderful home in San Antonio with her friend Joey!! who is also a piebald dachshund, and several other doggie brothers and sisters!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
