Tater - here he is! The biggest chicken little in the entire state! He's a precious chocolate piebald short haired boy pup who was born this past January 26th. He is neutered, current on shots, fecal tested, treated, and on heartworm preventative. When I first saw this pup, his little head was the size and color of a potato, so I called him Mr. Potato Head, which sort of morphed into "Tater". The name suits this little boy who will bark as he runs to hide behind you when he feels threatened or scared! He LOVES to play with cats and other dogs, so a home with other pets will be preferred for this monkey boy! 8/3/05 Mr. Tater Tot has the greatest personality and you cant help but fall for those beautiful green eyes. Everyone describes him as a bird dog with short legs. He likes everyone he meets but he is no guard dog. He does not like loud noises and when all the other dogs start barking, he looks for a place to hide. He loves to play but once he gets hot, he wants a lap and air-conditioning!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
