Dipstick - Poor little monkey has a funky name! Dipstick is a pretty, shiny red short haired mini girl who is mixed a bit with Terrier - accounting for her funky ears and perky little face! Dippy would do best in a home with no children and no other female dogs. She's fine with male dogs and will play and romp with another boy doggie, but not with other ladies. She's a dominant girl with attitude and a protective personality. However, we are working on her barking at strangers and her fear issues, so I think that if she had a home with a couple or a single person, she'd make the BEST companion. She gives kisses, likes laps, and being held. She will be spayed and checked out by vet prior to adoption. Consider her today! Photo to come soon. Dipstick - This little terrier doxie girl mix was soooo full of energy and could jump 3 feet in the air! She's got the PERFECT home for her needs - here in Kerrville with another terrier - a boy doggie who can keep up with her! She and her new brother can terrorize squirrels and birds, and run like lightening. She's very standoffish with strangers but she took to her new folks like she'd known them all her life. Dippie was only about 18 months of age when she came to rescue, a red short haired monkey - girl. If I could bottle her energy...

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
