Hi! Andy here. I'm a 12 month old chi-weenie and need a good home with other dogs my size to play with! I'm neutered, current on shots and on heartworm preventative. I love to play fetch with my tennis balls and wrestle with my other mini dachshund friends. I also love to snuggle under the covers and sleep in bed with my new parents - if you'll let me! When my foster mom is gone, I stay in my crate like a good boy until she comes back. I'm good with older kids, but no cats are allowed in "Andy Man's House"! I live in DFW area and really, really want to meet someone soon!! UPDATE 8.18.07 Andy's been waiting for that special home to love and adore him. He's up in the DFW area and has had no luck in finding the 'right' home for his perky personality. Andy is definately a handsome fella, such striking markings being a brindle dachshund / chihuahua. Please consider adopting Andy, he's getting older now and has gotten out of that silly puppy stage, developing into a handsome youngster! Adopt him today!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
