Daphney II - She is just a little sweetheart. So loving and gentle. Likes other dogs and plays with other dogs most of the time. From what I understand she is also good with cats. Likes to cuddle and gives kisses. House trained and even uses the doggie door all on her own (had a few mistakes at the beginning but now that's taken care of). When she gets nervous or excited she does that "reverse sneezing" a lot. She also snores!!!!! Is crate trained and sleeps through the night through without much trouble. I'm very proud of her rapid progress here with us. Quite a brave little girl. From what I understand she is 2 1/2 to 3 years old and was a rescue dog about a year and a half ago from another group or shelter. So she is a second time rescue dog. Hopefully we can find her a permanent forever home this time. She's spayed, current on shots, fecal and heartworm negative, on preventative, and is ready for a new home as of January 1st, 2007!!!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
