Yancey & Hondo My newest little Texas Playboys! These pups are rootin tootin and cute as heck! Little red short haired boys about 4 months of age. Once they are old enough to be neutered, theyll be ready for adoption. They are getting their puppy shots, fecal tests and will be set for neuters and microchipping next month. To watch these boys is hilarious. They have no manners, not housetrained, not leashtrained, goofy, silly, playful, boys! In other words, typical dachshund puppies! If you are wanting the entire experience from puppy-hood to adult-hood, are willing to work with these boys on their training, manners, etc., please fill out the application form at the top of the page for consideration as their new parents, on www.ddrtx.org. Yancey is a tad bit smaller and not as aggressively attention demanding as Hondo is. Hondo is the more outgoing, jumping on you slobber all over your face kind of boy. Fun, adorable, and a huge handful. Please consider fostering these pups for me! I prefer the elderly and gentle furkids to rambunctious Texas Playboys! Lets get you approved for adoption or fostering!

Love dachshunds and not ready to adopt or circumstances won't permit having a dog?  How about being a sponsor or making a donation.  Every one of our dachshunds receives excellent medical care along with day to day food, love and housing.  Being non-profit, we rely on generous individuals like yourselves to help save these fur babies.  You can do this specifically for one dog with the sponsor button on their webpage or a general donation on our “How To Help” page.  Easy and quick through Pay Pal or your debit/credit card.  You generosity is sincerely appreciated by all and is tax deductable.  Need other ideas?  You'll find tons of them on the How to Help tab.  All contributions are tax deductable.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
