A Gentleman's job is never done!   I'm a mature fellow, about 7 1/2 years old and only 13 pounds big!  My sweet nature grabs everyone's attention, but yet I still seem to be passed over in the "bring me home!" category!  I'm not sure why! What's not to love about me?  I adore being around people. Laps are just my favorite thing! Well, being in the big bed at night is really my favorite thing... but, even there I'm a Gentleman! I promise not to hog the covers! I'm a family boy with a busy, playful attitude! No cats or small animals for me though please! I do have a strong hunting instinct and can be too much of a temptation to resist!  I really enjoy other dogs and think a home with a friend would be the bomb!  Did I mention my other favorite things?  Toys and bones and stuffies and laps and people and cuddles and blankies and....  oh, I digress!  My most favorite thing in the world is you!  Won't you bring me home so we can enjoy all my favorite things together?

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
