07.09.08 GILLIGAN - One of Lola's pups! What a handsome boy with green eyes! Gilligan is the calmest of all the pups. He is content to sit on your lap and watch everything going on around him. He loves lap time and belly rubs. Also trained to a doggy door with very few accidents inside. He will be a joyful addition to your family as he is just full of love. NOTE: This puppy would be placed under "Special Puppy Provisions" where the applicant would temporary foster the pup until it is 6 months of age AND is spayed/neutered. Only then will an adoption take place. 8.07.08 Update: Gilligan well, as a typical puppy would do, he ate something he shouldnt have and it blocked his stomach and intestines causing emergency surgery to remove the yarn/string from his tummy and intestines. Gilley is recovering well, but wont be ready to meet a new home for at least a week. If you can donate some funds to help w/ the costs of his surgery, please do, as this unexpected expense to save his life came with a hefty vet bill! You can find the "Donate" button on our website www.ddrtx.org. 10.01.08 Update on puppies, Gilligan and Ginger: These puppies have now been fully vetted, spayed/neutered, shots and microchipped, so are ready to meet a potential family that will ADOPT BOTH TOGETHER. We dont want to split them up since they are so devoted to one another. If one leaves the room, the other freaks out they want to be together all the time, so they will need to be adopted together as a pair. TEXAS ADOPTIONS ONLY. PLEASE VISIT OUR WEBSITE WWW.DDRTX,ORG AND COMPLETE AN ADOPTION APPLICATION SOON.
