9.25.08 Diesel - Ok, I know you guys are gonna clobber me when you see this puppy's face, so I'm going to make you wait, and won't show him to you yet!! Read more and you'll see why. Diesel is the typical, adorable, cute little black and tan boy puppy, he's about 5 months of age and will be fully vetted prior to placement, however, at this time he's recovering from acid/chemical burns down his back. For some unknown and incomprehensible reason, someone either poured a burning acidic chemical on him, or burned him from his neck to his tail. We can't understand how a person could hurt innocent pets by pouring acid on them to cause horrendous pain and sometimes death. In this case, our precious Diesel puppy will recover and we hope he will never again know that kind of pain or fear. He is already regrowing hair and his wounds are healing well. He wears a doggie t-shirt and gets medication daily by his adoring foster parents. He's learning housetraining, dog doors, sleeping in a crate at night, and playing well with other dogs.
