11.09,08 OPAL and RUBY A pair of puppies that MUST stay together. They were born in a foster home in rescue to a rescued mommy dog. One is deaf with limited vision (Opal), due to her mom being a double dapple deaf dog and her dad being either a double dapple or a piebald which, of course, causes severe genetic problems such as deafness and blindness, among other potential problems. Ruby is as healthy as can be with no hearing or vision issues. These girls are amazingly wonderful and too adorable for words. They were born 8/8/08. Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
