12.15.08 Hi my name is Archie, but they use to call me Dieter. I just wouldn't answer to it! I like my new name very much. I'm a friendly. loving, playful guy who is currently in foster home care. My foster parents say that I am very handsome. I love to play with the other dogs and I like toys too. "Chase the other dog" is my favorite game. I am good with cats. I'm mellow by nature and not barky at all. I love both men and women. I'm about 2 years old and weigh around 13 lbs. Very svelte! I walk nicely on a leash, am crate trained and potty outside like a good boy. I even know the doggie door. I have to go to the vet yet but I'm told that will happen in the next week or two. Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
