12.01.09/6.15.10 What a GREAT little dog this red piebald boy is! He is friendly, outgoing, > tail wags a mile a minute. When he came into rescue from a really bad situation, he had severe mange and skin infections plus a nice case of giardia thrown in for good measure! We got him healthy and beautiful then he had a really bad bout with tummy issues, so we had to do surgery to remove a bladder stone, he's all fixed up and fine now! We want to find him the best home ever so he'll never again know the misery and discomfort that he lived through in his past. Kaaz is about 4 years of age best guess, weighs about 12 pounds. A notch is missing from one ear due to mange and filth, but it is all cleaned up and no longer bleeds. He appears to know a doggie door, leash and loves attention. He's good with cats, older kids, other dogs and will make someone a fabulous companion! Get in your application soon so we can get you approved to meet Kaazi and take him home!! Texas adoptions only. Love dachshunds and not ready to adopt or circumstances won't permit having a dog?  How about being a sponsor or making a donation.  Every one of our dachshunds receives excellent medical care along with day to day food, love and housing.  Being non-profit, we rely on generous individuals like yourselves to help save these fur babies.  You can do this specifically for one dog with the sponsor button on their webpage or a general donation on our “How To Help” page.  Easy and quick through Pay Pal or your debit/credit card.  You generosity is sincerely appreciated by all and is tax deductable.  Need other ideas?  You'll find tons of them on the How to Help tab.  All contributions are tax deductable.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
