1.23.10 Hi there! My name is Jaeger and I'm a very happy fella. Being only 18 months old, I'm very playful and love to fetch, tug and think up other games that we can play together. My most favorite is BALL!!! I'm around 14 lbs and a gorgeous black and tan gentleman, so my foster Mom says. I'm a very good boy with my housetraining and have had almost no mistakes at all. Not sure what I would think of cats, but I sure do like other dogs and people. Inquisitive and smart as a whip I keep everyone on their toes when I'm around. Of course, a warm lap to snuggle in is also a wonderful thing too. At night, I could sleep with you or I will be a very good boy and sleep quietly in my crate with my blankie. Up-to-date on all my shots, fecal tested, neutered, heartworm negative and microchipped is my medical history. I even just got my nails done and I was such a good fella I got treats when I got home. I REALLY would like a nice home with people to play with. If you're looking for a great dog and a wonderful companion, I'm the guy for you. Love dachshunds and not ready to adopt or circumstances won't permit having a dog?  How about being a sponsor or making a donation.  Every one of our dachshunds receives excellent medical care along with day to day food, love and housing.  Being non-profit, we rely on generous individuals like yourselves to help save these fur babies.  You can do this specifically for one dog with the sponsor button on their webpage or a general donation on our “How To Help” page.  Easy and quick through Pay Pal or your debit/credit card.  You generosity is sincerely appreciated by all and is tax deductable.  Need other ideas?  You'll find tons of them on the How to Help tab.  All contributions are tax deductable.

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
