I'm a little mini red dapple with short hair and only 6 years old! I'm super sweet and such a cutie! I can be a bit shy at first, but warm up quickly. I have an independent and inquisitive nature and love to go for walks and car rides. Meet me and I'm sure to steal your heart away! Learning that I really love people has proven to be a great thing! You see, lap attention and kisses are my specialty! I'm not exactly what you'd call a "souped up version of a Dachshund," but I have lots of energy to play. I especially love to play with my favorite toys... the squeakies! I love keeping company with other dogs, but kitties are just not my thing. My heart worms are all taken care of now and I'm fit as a fiddle! I'm all ready to make a future with you!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
