There comes a point in everyone's life when it's simply time to dance!  Now is my time! I'm an upbeat young lady, only 2 1/2 years old, with a super attitude and loving personality!  A family bought me from a breeder and I figured I'd have it made from there.  Well, unfortunately, that family was unable to care for me and I'm looking for a new dance partner now.  I have very good manners in the house, don't make much noise, ride politely in the car, and I'm even learning how to walk on leash very well! I'm the kind of girl who gets along well with everyone and enjoys the company of people (young or old,) other dogs and even the kitty cat! My foster mom says I'm very "lady-like" and I just love to snuggle on her lap while she relaxes.  I'd stay there all day if she would just quit moving around! After all, at only about 12 pounds, I'm just the perfect size for lap snuggles!  I'm happy and content just hanging around and making sure my people are pleased with me at all times!  I hope it doesn't take long to find my new dance partner!  If I close my eyes and listen very carefully, I can hear my song being played off in the distance of my dreams. Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
