My beautiful black & cream, long hair coat made me a favorite breeder where I used to live. I'm only 3 years old, and didn't get much of a chance to learn social skills there. Since being brought to rescue, I've learned that people can be a great way to get loving attention. Taking walks on a leash is new to me, but I'm discovering how fun it can be! I have good housemanners and know to go outside or use the special paper. Being around other dogs makes me happy and I would love a friend to keep me company. Kitties are OK too! I just choose to ignore them! I can be a little shy when meeting new people, or seeing new places, so small children would not be my idea of good company. I'm eager to bond with my new family, but will need some patience while I settle in and feel safe. Now that my puppy raising days are behind me, I'd love to start a completely new life with you!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
