BONDED PAIR:  We are a bonded pair who love to do everything together! We even got lost together and wound up in a shelter. Thank goodness we had each other and were rescued together too! Won't you consider giving us both a safe and loving home?
 
Ozzie:  Harriet, tells me I'm a bit more shy than her. I prefer to say that I'm just more cautious! I'm a small guy, only 10 pounds and 3 years old, with a pretty black/tan dapple coat. Now that I'm in a foster home, I'm learning my house manners and starting to appreciate walks on a leash. I sleep quietly in my dog bed with my best friend and follow her around everywhere she goes! Meeting new people is so much fun and I really love playing with kids of all ages. Giving kisses is my specialty! I have lots of playful energy and an inquisitive nature toward life. When someone starts a game, I join right in and enjoy the fun! I've even learned the joy of a kong, filled with cheese of course! It didn't take me long to come out of my shy shell. I only needed my pal Harriet and a safe place to hang around. Now, I'm ready to find my forever home, but need Harriet to be there with me!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
