I'm not even a year old yet and haven't had much exposure to a "normal life." I lived outside in a kennel with other dogs, so I'm very used to doggie friend company. I would love to always have a friend around. Though I can be shy around new faces, I'm learning to enjoy the company of people and eagerly follow them around. I really love snuggling up in the big bed, or on a lap, for quiet time! My personality would likely do well around children who show me a little patience and kindness. Living in a home is new to me and I'm working hard on perfecting my house manners and leash training. I really like to stay busy, so some nice chew toys would keep me occupied and happy! Having this chance to learn what a good life can be makes be eager to find a family to call my own! I'm a gentle soul with tons of love to share. The way I see it, the math is simple! Me + you = Home!

Diamond Dachshund Rescue of Texas is a non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization with focus on rescue and adoption of pure breed Dachshunds.  All dogs are fully vetted and housed on private property.  Meetings are scheduled upon adoption approval.  Thank you for your continued support to the rescue and shelter communities!  Opt to Adopt!
